Christian Carlsen
 

Born 1974

Christian has studied at The Art School since 2006.

​

He finds his inspiration in relationships that occupy him, for example his hometown Copenhagen, but it can also be motives that evoke a special feeling in him. For example, the joy of eating ice cream.

​

It is often such a spontaneous interest in an event, a place or phenomenon that underlies Christian's motifs that he most often wants photos of and which forms the basis for his images.

​

Christian has a very sensuous line. He often draws blind drawings, in which he depicts the contours of the object sensitively sensory.

​

Christian likes to experiment with many techniques and forms of expression. Where the primary ones are acrylic on canvas, where he draws his motif up with pen.
