Tuition
The aim of the teaching is to help individual
students develop their ability to sense, understand and express
themselves pictorially.
We seek to assist individual students in
finding their own personal forms of expression and in becoming able -
independently - to use the materials and techniques best suited for
the purpose.
Tuition is based on close collaboration between
students and teachers.
We tailor individual courses – based on each
student’s requirements and capabilities.
During the school year students will have the
opportunitiy to try many different forms of expression, materials and
techniques within the main areas of drawing, painting, graphic/digital
design and sculpture.
We get out inspiration for pictures from trips
to museums, galleries, zoos, and walks in the woods as well as from
memories, performances, stories, music, books, etc. Daily living and
social life at the school are also important sources of inspiration.
An academic year consists of 40 weeks’
tuition – from mid-August to June (inclusive).
Daily lessons are taken by three tutors who are
both great technical specialists and experienced teachers.
