Admissions
The Art School has 10 places for adult students.
Admission requirements are a minimum age of 18 and the ability both to
eat and go to the lavatory unassisted.
The admissions test takes place at the School from 1-4 pm on a Friday in
March. Applicants are given a brief introduction to the Art School,
after which they will be asked to work with picture production (drawing,
painting or modelling) in the School’s art room. On the basis of this
work, three prepared works and an interview with the applicant, an
assessment is made as to suitability for admission. Emphasis is placed
on the applicant’s wish to learn new things and energy for working in a
concentrated environment for four to five hours a day on the production
of pictures. In addition we seek to create a team of people who will be
able to inspire each other and function well together.
Students currently pay DKK 4,000 per annum for materials and tuition and
DKK 125 per inspirational excursion to cover tickets and lunch.
It is a good idea to visit the School before
applying for the admissions test.
